Issels is correct for certain situations. In my opinion, if the tumor can
be removed efficiently or the tumor has the possibility of causing concerns
with an organ then removing it is probability a good option. I do believe
that there are times that the tumor should be left alone especially if
conventional treatment is going to be followed.
I had the tumor removed from my colon and a resection performed. The
alternative doc that I interned under taught me that it is much easier
cleaning up the blood after tumor removal than dealing with a tumor. Not
always, but most of the time. This is presuming that the clean-up will be
accomplished by using natural medicine, not conventional. He had a
tremendous amount of experience with cancer using alternative methods and
treating the whole person. In my case, it has worked. But I don't for one
minute think it was ONLY my choice of tumor removal that helped me to get
well - but instead the synergistic effect of using a lot of different
modalities.
It is important to remember that every person is unique (conventional
medicine totally misses this concept) and while cancer is cancer, dealing
with it effectively with natural medicine means that the whole person must
be taken into consideration. Cleansing & detoxification, healthy diet, pure
water, clean air, exercise, sunshine, natural supplementation, lymphatic
drainage and one of the most important - dealing with emotional issues such
as anger, negative emotions, victim mentality, past hurts, etc. I have seen
people do everything correctly and compliantly, except that they would not
deal with their emotions or their past hurts and the result was that they
did not get well.
I have said this before and will continue to emphasize the importance of
taking the time to effectively deal with emotions. If you think that you
don't need to bother with this - then you probably need it the most. :o)
And because we are each so unique, I believe that we all have a toxic
threshold that is unique to us. In other words my threshold may be 500,000
and Uncle Harry who smoked, drank, never exercised and consumed all his
foods fried may have a toxic threshold of 900,000. Thus I may develop
disease or health concerns much earlier in life than he does because my
threshold is so much lower. What produces a lower threshold? Being exposed
to higher levels of toxins at an earlier age - even in the womb. This is
possibly one reason that we are seeing people younger and younger presenting
disease that used to only be seen in much older people. These toxins come
from food, air, water, negative emotions, media, environmental, etc.
Certainly "how" we take care of ourselves plays into this, but I think it
has more to do with our personal toxic threshold. Something to think about.
Be Well
