I think he said "50% response rate" or "50% results", not "cure".
I'ver never heard from a credible source of his getting a 50% recovery
rate. Without a doubt, Gerson therapy's success rate's much lower
today, due to lack of raw liver juice (reportedly the most effective
part of Gerson's regimen), people's bodies being more toxic, immune
systems and livers more damaged, bodies malnourished, soils more
deficient, and other factors.

Trying to globally compare Gerson therapy w/surgery, chemo or
radiation is comparing apples and oranges.available back in the 50's.
I think those odds are good even by todays standard.

There's no consensus on the "overall" success rate of chemo (whatever
that even means), and such a number has little relevance in most
respects, though technically speaking 3% sounds about right. Chemo's
success rate varies from well over 50% w/certain cancers to below zero
w/others.
