Daughtersofmoms withBREASTCANCER Re: Update on my mom - prayer request

Hi Lesley,
This is the first time I respond to anything here, not becuase of
anything in particular it's just because I am a reserved person for
this kind of thing.
My mother's first diagnosis was cervical cancer back in 1984, we went
thru lots of relapases and a truck load of other things that went
along with that. In the end an asthma atack took her from me, 4 years
ago this April. She was 64 years old.
Two years ago this July, the other woman in my life passed. She was
diagnosed with breast cancer less than two years before that. It
spread everywehere, literarly. She was 36 years old.
I guess the only thing I can tell you is to enjoy eveything they have
to offer for the time the offer it. Give, show and tell them that you
love them, what they've meant and that THEY are your strenght. Above
all, be their strenght, they are just as scared if not more than you.
Be strong my friend, be strong. Above all, believe...
Best wishes, lots of hugs and if you ever need an ear, mine is always
available.....
