If I use the black salve and should see this thread hanging what am I
supposed to do about it, let it hang or follow this thread with the
black salve or where I think the thred is headed?
This spot now has a crust type feel to it, it feels hard and crusty.

[cancercured] Canada Bill C-51 To Outlaw 60 Percent of Herbs and Vitamins etc without D. Per.

Canada's C-51 Law May Outlaw 60% of Natural Health Products; Big
Pharma Pushing to Criminalize Supplements

by Mike Adams (see all articles by this author)

(NaturalNews) A new law being pushed in Canada by Big Pharma seeks to
outlaw up to 60 percent of natural health products currently sold in
Canada, even while criminalizing parents who give herbs or supplements
to their children. The law, known as C-51, was introduced by the
Canadian Minister of Health on April 8th, 2008, and it proposes
sweeping changes to Canada's Food and Drugs Act that could have
devastating consequences on the health products industry.

Among the changes proposed by the bill are radical alterations to key
terminology, including replacing the word "drug" with "therapeutic
product" throughout the Act, thereby giving the Canadian government
broad-reaching powers to regulate the sale of all herbs, vitamins,
supplements and other items. With this single language change,
anything that is "therapeutic" automatically falls under the Food and
Drug Act. This would include bottled water, blueberries, dandelion
greens and essentially all plant-derived substances.

The Act also changes the definition of the word "sell" to include
anyone who gives such therapeutic products to someone else. So a
mother giving an herb to her child, under the proposed new language,
could be arrested for engaging in the sale of unregulated, unapproved
"therapeutic substances." Learn about more of these freedom-squashing
changes to the law at the Stop51.com website: http://www.stopc51.com

I saw a news segment on ABC and it concerned the use of lazer to cure,
totally cure throat cancer. Perhaps this could be used for other oral cancers. It
was at Mass. General Hospital. The doctor's name was Dr. Zytels (not sure of

Re: [cancercured] CT SCAN

Hi Al,

Of course you need to do what you think you should do....but....only
recently I read that CT scans now are known to actually "cause" cancer. Are you
currently undergoing chemo? Are you doing alternative therapy?
My DH is working with a macrobiotic counselor for his prostate cancer. He
and a friend who also has prostate cancer and is also on this diet were
advised by their urologists to have a CT scan. Their counselors have shared that
even doing a CT scan would set them back a good six months because of the
radiation. They both opted to not do CT but go with results of blood work.
What would be the benefit of a CT scan? I am scared of this radiation. I for
one have never had a mammogram. I was a flight attendant for 15 years. With
jets that fly at the altitudes of 35,000 ft and above a person is subjected
to exposure of radiation that is equal to a full set of chest X-rays for each
flight that is cross country. I for one have had enough radiation to last
more than a life time.

I hope you are well and feeling cancer free!

Sincerely,

Karen

[cancercured] Re: Salivary Gland cancer

Rife machines are not a hoax! They do not cure any disease, however.
The value in these devices lies in the fact that pathogens do not
build and maintain a protective flexible membrane. Infected cells
form crystalline shapes that are arranged in geometrical shapes that
are identical in each specific disease. Dr. Rife discovered that each
particular crystalline form responds to resonant energy which causes
these solids to go into vibration and this action breaks the bonds
that hold pathogens together. Today's hobbiests who have revived this
technology still fall short of the successes that Dr. Rife attained
but non-the-less, we are getting good although not always consistant
results.

http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=rife+machine&hl=en&sitesearch=

Chemo and alternatives are not complementary. One is destructive the
other constructive. Doing both at the same time isn't a good idea IMO.
Doing chemo with any tumor is also doubtful. A large study didn't
find it helpful.

You mentioned you had been treated for cancer in your salivary gland
that had spread to your lungs at the Cancer center of America. I have
basically been put on a watch and wait approach for my S.G.cancer that
has spread to my lungs by my onc. Then they will treat me with chemo
once symptoms start. At this point I am not willing to involve myself
with a chemo plan that will only offer me only palliative treatment. I
am doing the Budwig Plan and feel wonderful and am starting to feel that
I may be seeing some positive results on my scans. What kind of hope
have they offered at CCA? What type of chemo did they have you on and
how long has it been since you have been treated? Are you expected to go
through any other chemo? I was told by my doc that once I start chemo ,
I would get a round , the nodules would shrink hopefully then they would
come back and we would them hit them with another type of chemo and
continue this process untill my nodules became resistent at all chemo.
Not very encouraging.I have talked to the people at CCA and they sounded
wonderful althoughI felt they would only offer me the same protocol as
my doc.

Let me know how you are doing. It is wonderful that you have found some
hope. Congratulations

Re: [cancercured] Arsenic trioxide

Arsenic trioxide (usually used as potassium arsenite) is very useful
in cancer treatment as long as you respect its limitations. Patients
develop a tolerance to it very quickly which is reminiscent of
cisplatin, etoposide, methotrexate. It is not curative. Its best
use is when it is crunch time. It can be used with ascorbate,
menadione and trolox to increase effectiveness. I would reduce B-6
and selenium while doing this. 10 mg intravenous is a usual medical
dose and it is generally considered safe, but there have been a few
unexplained deaths reported in the literature using this amount. We
usually don't go above 5mg. I have one reference from the 1850s that
recommends up to 360 mg orally over six hours for snake
bite! Gastrointestinal disturbances can be expected. Back then it
was usually used as Fowler's Solution which has a rather weak
activity against cancer. If you want to use natural forms of arsenic
then I recommend using bracken fern. It would be best though to work
with someone experienced. The bottom line is that on rare occasions
arsenic is very useful.

I mix it in gel capsules. During the winter I put in my cocoa directly.

The DE scrapes the cyst cases causing them to split which prevents
reproduction. The life cysle/gestation period for most parasites is
short of 6 weeks so I suggest that the regemin be used daily for at
least that long.

Daughtersofmoms withBREASTCANCER 8 Tips for Reducing Your Risk of Cancer and Heart Disease...

Cancer Prevention Tips
The National Cancer Institute has reported that about one-third of all cancer deaths are related to what we eat. The following tips will not only reduce your risk for developing cancer, they will also reduce your risk of developing heart disease.

Cancer Prevention Tip #1 - Maintain Your Ideal Weight
The American Cancer Society has reported that women who are 40 percent or more overweight are 55 percent more likely to develop cancer. Men who are 40 percent or more overweight are 33 percent more likely to develop cancer.

Cancer Prevention Tip #2 - Reduce Your Total Fat Intake
Saturated and unsaturated fats have both been attributed to the development of cancer. By reducing your fat intake to no more than 30 percent of the total calories coming from fat, you can reduce your risk of developing cancer.

Cancer Prevention Tip #3 - Increase Your Fiber Intake
The American Cancer Society has reported that by replacing high fat foods with high fiber foods will decrease your risk for developing cancer.
Good high fiber foods include whole grain cereals, fruits, and vegetables.

Cancer Prevention Tip #4 - Include Sources of Vitamins A and C in Your Diet
Leafy green vegetables and other green vegetables, such as asparagus, brussels sprouts, and green beans are good sources. Yellow-orange vegetables and fruits, such as carrots and sweet potatoes, and apricots and pineapples, are also good sources. If you're not a huge vegetable eater, try fruits, such as lemons, oranges, and grapefruit, or drink juices from these fruits.

Cancer Prevention Tip #5 - Include Sources of Vitamin E in Your Diet
Food high in Vitamin E, such as whole grain cereals, nuts and beans, have been recommended by the American Cancer Society for reducing the risk for developing cancer.

Cancer Prevention Tip #6 - Include Cruciferous Vegetables in Your Diet
Cruciferous vegetables, such as cabbage, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and cabbage, are high in fiber and reduce the risk of developing cancer.

Cancer Prevention Tip #7 - Reduce Intake of Salt-Cured, Smoked, and Nitrate-Cured Foods
Consumption of these types of foods have been linked to cancer. Moderation is a good rule when it comes to foods, such as ham, sausage, and smoked fish.

Cancer Prevention Tip #8 - Reduce Alcohol Consumption
Moderation is key. An example of moderation is having an after-dinner drink or an alcoholic beverage with your meal.

[cancercured] Re: Salivary Gland cancer

Personally I would not subject myself to chemo based upon research
that indicates that it is ineffective on tumorous cancers. The
exception being IPT therapy using small amounts of chemo that targets
the cancer due to its affinity for sugar.

May I suggest that you obtain a copy of Dr. Philip Binzell's
book 'Alive and well.' He documents cases he personally supervised

treatment and those who went natural from the start. The 5 year
survival rates clearly indicate that conventional treatment results
in dismal outcomes.

[cancercured] Salivary Gland cancer

Jim

You mentioned you had been treated for cancer in your salivary gland
that had spread to your lungs at the Cancer center of America. I have
basically been put on a watch and wait approach for my S.G.cancer that

Not very encouraging.I have talked to the people at CCA and they sounded
wonderful althoughI felt they would only offer me the same protocol as

Let me know how you are doing. It is wonderful that you have found some

[cancercured] Re: Another look at cancer cells

Sure sounds like Laetrile now doesn't it? BTW according to Dr. C. T.
Taylor, Laetrile only works synergisitcally with vitamin A and
digestive enzymes. Those opponents of Laetrile who didn't achieve
success with it probably didn't know the mechanism that produces the
effects. I would go one step further and include DE (Diatomaceous
Earth) and MSM. I have made a 50/50 combo pill which I have used to
destroy intestinal parasites. I may add Cream of Tartar to my next
batch to see if it improves the performance which I suspect; will.
Along with that I eat pumpking seeds. The results have been excellent.

Scientists look to natural compounds in fruits and
vegetables to win the war against cancer

Natural anti-fungal compounds found on common fruits
and vegetables could unlock the belly of a Trojan
horse lying latent inside cancer cells. Laboratory
tests have shown that the compounds, called
salvestrols, unleash a potent army of snipers that
pick off cancer cells without harming normal cells.

A small team of pharmacologists and bio-chemists in
England discovered the compounds almost four years
ago, and say they are an example of the potential
power of orthomolecular, or nutrition-based, medicine
even though it has only been tested in the lab.

About 250 orthomolecular practitioners from 14
countries will gather in Vancouver this weekend for
the 37th annual international conference on the
biochemical approach to health.

Orthomolecular medicine, meaning the right molecule,
argues that diseases are caused by chemical imbalances
in the body and that they can be corrected using
vitamins, minerals and amino acids.

The approach is still disputed by many in conventional
medicine, including the respected Cochrane Library,
which recently reviewed the literature on antioxidants
and found no evidence to support their use for
prevention.

But nutrition therapy has gained some credence lately
because of a growing body of evidence demonstrating
the value of food and food derivatives such as
omega-3s and Vitamin D to prevent and heal disease.

In the case of the anti-fungal compounds, its
proponents are convinced their presence or absence in
diet could help explain why some people get cancer and
some don't. They also believe it is a potent cancer
fighting therapy.

The as yet unproven therapy was discovered after Dan
Burke, a former University of Aberdeen toxicologist
and pharmaceutical metabolism professor who found an
enzyme called CYP1B1 (pronounced sip one bee one) that
is present in all cancer cells but absent in all
non-cancerous cells.

A mainstream cancer researcher for 30 years, Burke
knew he'd stumbled onto something big.

The problem with cancer is that unlike many diseases,
it has no alien source -- no infection or bacteria
towards which treatment can be directed.

Cancer cells are normal cells that don't die. They
just multiply forever. So current treatments, such as
chemotherapy and radiation, can't target just the
cancerous cells.

They can only carpet bomb the cancerous area,
destroying normal cells in the process and causing
immune deficiency, hair loss and other unpleasant side
effects.

In his enzyme, Burke had a target that drugs could
attack. He and colleague Gerry Potter, a professor of
medicinal chemistry with a long history of developing
anti-cancer drugs, began preliminary research into
creating a pro-drug, a drug that can enter all cells
but is harmless until it encounters the CYP1B1 enzyme.

"CYP1B1 is a Trojan horse," Burke said in a recent
Vancouver interview. "It is intrinsic in cancer cells.
All you have to do is give it [a pro-drug] and it will
unleash the armies to kill the cancers cells."

Re: Daughtersofmoms withBREASTCANCER My moms first chemo treatment.

when my mom was going thru the strongest chemo for
some strange reason she craved the polish dogs with
everything on it with coke from Costco. Also have your
mom drink ensure it does taste good and it gives extra
nutrients. I would take my mom out to Costco on the
days she had chemo. KEEP YOUR MOM BUSY, if she can do
a little house work let her, don't have her sit around
all day, even taking a little walk to keep the blood
moving is always good. Hopefully the Dr gave her some
med's for the nausea if not Prisolec also works and it
is over the counter. Drink lots of water, cranberry
juice, anything but alcohol to flush the kidneys and
liver of the toxic waste they are putting in your
mom's body.
Biotene works really good for the dry mouth, it has no
alcohol, have her rinse twice a day.
My mom had her surgery on February and she has 12
weeks more of chemo and then 5 weeks of radiation
besides the 9 months of chemo she had before the
mastectomy.
She is doing okay for the most part, she is driving
her family members CRAZY has she has OCD with
cleanliness and it has gotten worse as the treatment
continues.
The weather in Calif is cooling down today thank
goodness, I am in southern CA.

Take it one day at a time,

Does anybody know of any positive results from arsenic trioxide taken orally? Apparently it's part of the old remedies, is FDA aproved (TGA approved in Australia) and is being used for Leukemia and is now undergoing a phase 1 trial for rectal cancer.

Re: Daughtersofmoms withBREASTCANCER My moms first chemo treatment.

Hey Kim,

There are lots of drugs for nausea. Within the first 24-72 hours of chemo write down all the side effects mom is having and have her or yourself contact the oncologist. They are armed and ready to help your mom through the side effects and will call something into the pharmacy.

Some drug names that my mom is current on is Emend and Ativan. Ativan also is used for nerves. It is helps with both.

Keep posting and take care,

RRH

Daughtersofmoms withBREASTCANCER Soy-Rich Foods May Cut Breast-Cancer Spread

Hi guys,

I'm new to this group. I'm looking forward to reading about your experience, and your triumphs against cancer. I know of someone who was able to fight back after surgery... She did so with alot of prayers, exercise, and nutraceutical supplementation. I came across this article and I hope you find reading this to be worthwhile.

Wellness With Symmetry <wellnesswithsymmetry@yahoogroups.com> wrote:
Eating More Soy-rich Foods Could Reduce Spread Of Breast Cancer
ScienceDaily (Sep. 29, 2004) -- Eating more soy-rich foods could reduce the spread of breast cancer, a new study from the University of Ulster has revealed. Dr Pamela Magee, from the School of Biomedical Sciences, has been investigating the effects of a group of dietary compounds, found almost exclusively in soy foods, in the prevention of cancer spread.

Dr Magee said: "Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer affecting women in the western world, with 950 women in Northern Ireland alone suffering from the disease per year. "But among South-East Asian populations, and in areas where soy products are traditionally consumed in high amounts in the diet, incidence of breast cancer is low. "Soy contains naturally occurring hormone-like compounds called isoflavones that scientists believe can inhibit breast cancer development.

"In our study we used cell cultures to examine the effects of isoflavones on the invasion of breast cancer cells. The isoflavones exerted potent inhibitory effects on breast cancer cell invasion, even at concentrations similar to those found in South East-Asian populations. "These novel findings seem to indicate that eating a soy rich products such as soy milk, soy drinks and desserts, could have an important role in preventing the spread of cancer cells in the body. Further studies in human volunteers are now needed to confirm whether soy isoflavones will protect against breast cancer spread in patients.

"Although recent advances have been made in tumour detection and treatment, the spread of cancer remains a significant cause of mortality. The invasion of cancerous cells from their site of origin into the neighbouring environment enables cancerous cells to travel and grow at new sites within the body. Any agent, therefore, which can prevent the invasive process could become a powerful tool in the prevention of cancer spread."

I do drink fresh veggie juice every day. I was using carrot as the base, but my blood sugar crept up a bit, so now I use celery, red cabbage, beets, broccoli, and bluegreen algae.

[cancercured] Re: Question

based upon your description it may very well be a melanoma. These are
VERY DANGEROUS and should be removed ASAP. Escharotics are the only
safe way to remove them. Surgical extirpation is risky as it can
spread. You will know when you apply it if it is malignant as it
crusts up and turns white around the edges. Anything else will not
react to the escharotic. Escharotics burn like he..! The pain goes on
and on until the eschar forms and falls off. If there is a thread

[cancercured] FDA leaves cancer-causing foot gel on the market

It's always good news day at the FDA . . .

From the William Campbell Douglass newsletter:

FDA leaves cancer-causing foot gel on the market

Even the most seemingly innocent drugs can carry fatal side effects. The
FDA just announced a study showing that the foot gel Regranex could be
causing cancer. And yet, amazingly, Regranex is still on the market!
The prescription foot gel is manufactured by Johnson & Johnson and is
often used by diabetics who develop leg and foot ulcers that are
difficult to heal.

Apparently, diabetics who'd been prescribed the gel three or more times
were at increased risk of death from cancer. With incredible gall, the
spokesperson for J&J insisted that Regranex is safe when used as
directed. What? This is a topical foot gel—if these people are
applying it to the sores on their feet and legs, they ARE using it as
directed. Should any foot gel be capable of giving you CANCER!? Does
this make sense to you?

Obviously there's more to this story. But if I were you, I wouldn't wait
for the FDA to do the banning – ban Regranex from your medicine
cabinet immediately.

Always with something to say about the FDA,
William Campbell Douglass II, M.D.

RB, It blows my mind . . . but it shouldn't

Daughtersofmoms withBREASTCANCER Additional advice online

I live in India and my 38 year old sister has been diagnosed with
Stage 3 breast cancer. It is ER/PR negative. She has had MRM
(Masectomy) done last week. I want to be ensure that she is a survivor
and thus get information/assistance that can help us achieve the same.
1) Is there a way I can reach out to survivors who had ER/PR negative
breast cancer?
2) Is there a way I can seek advice from experts/doctors across the
globe to know the latest treatment available.

Melissa,
Have you tried drinking carrot juice along with spinach, parsley or
any other green veggie? This helps to keep my alkaline level up.

"Chemotherapy is curative in very few cancers - testicular, Hodgkin's,

lung, colon, breast, etc. - chemotherapy is NOT curative." Dr. Jürgen

www.yahoogroups.com/group/Alternative_Breast_Cancer
"Chemotherapy does not eliminate breast, colon, or lung cancers. This
fact has been documented for over a decade" Allen Levin, MD UCSF The

"Ulrich Abel, Ph.D., of the Heidelberg Tumor Center in Germany,

among cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. He found that
chemotherapy can help only about 3% of the patients with epithelial
cancers (breast, lung, prostate, and colon) [Abel [1990], Cytostatic

treating about 80% of malignant tumors, in particular...cancers of the
lungs, breast, colon, pancreas, and bladder [D. Schmahl, (1989)

rate is all the more pathetic when you consider that it typically
refers to survival for only five years and thus overlooks the risk of
`secondary cancers'" (Diamond et al., 2000, p. 191).
"epidemiologist Ulrich Abel…put the entire usefulness of chemotherapy
in doubt. For over a year, this scientist reviewed several thousand

These diseases can be cured in some cases in an almost spectacular
way....But experienced clinicians agree that the balance tips against
chemotherapy when it comes to treating solid tumors in advanced

Re: [cancercured] Need help with alkalinity

Hello Melissa,
Your doing nothing wrong. That is how your body keeps you alkaline.
It dumps acid in the urine. Keep eating right.

Re: [cancercured] Need help with alkalinity

Hi Melissa,

To keep alkaline, you might try taking a level teaspoonful of baking soda in a cup of warm water twice a day between meals.

Also, there is a book you might wish to read, "Alkalize or Die," which is available from Amazon.com through this link:

RE: [cancercured] Question

You need to see a dermatologist. The can look at it and immediately tell
you whether its something that should be removed and whether it looks
suspicious. If they remove, they will always get a biopsy regardless or
whether they think its malignant or benign, that's standard practice.

The fact that is brown, black and red sounds suspicious to me. I know
because I had 2 removed that were malignant (sqaumous cell carcinoma), while
I had many removed that were benign. Don't procrastinate

Here's a site that explains the main types of skin cancer

http://www.umm.edu/skincancer/typesof.htm

Good luck
Dan

From: bk4529@aol.com
I'm wondering if anyone here can help me to decide what to do about this
spot on my head. I have a spot that started out as a red spot that itched a
lot.
Now, I can't see it and only know what the kids have told me. It stayed this way for a long time only itching a lot. Now they tell me that it's changed
colors and is brown, black and red. I found something here on the Internet
about melanoma and am wondering if this is what it is.
What is your advice on this, Can it seed from being taken off? Should it be
cut out? It's about the size of a a small pea. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated before I call the Dr.

Re: [cancercured] Need help with alkalinity

Hi Melissa,

The bottom line is that you aren't doing anything wrong. What people
fail to understand is that nothing works for everyone.

My advice to you is to keep eating healthy and don't worry about
alkalizing.
