My mom has peripheral neuropathy (just her feet, especially the left one),
but it was caused by chemotherapy (cisplatin), not diabetes; so I don't know
if alfa-lipoic acid will help her, she has begun taking it (R-lipoic acid)
recently for other reasons (the lung doctor said it would protect her liver
and also chelate heavy metals from the chemotherapy), but it would be really
nice that it could improve the neuropathy, as it has been getting worse in
the last months, instead of better...
