Have you heard of or tried Cymbalta (duloxetine HCl)? It is an antidepressant designed for diabetics with neuoropathy. It works great for pain and not just neuropathy.

I was on Cymbalta until I changed insurances, now it is not covered and I had to switch to the antidepressant Effexor. Also had to go on Morphine for pain control and that doesn't cover the pain that Cymbalta covered. My doctor added Amatriptaline to help with the
nueropathy pain and it works, but not as well as Cymbalta.
