One of the major discourse topics in our seminars is the treatments
that were developed as effective cancer treatments in the old Soviet
Union. It was a time and place when medical researchers and
clinicians were highly educated, but simply did not have a budget to
use the medicines that were so highly touted by pharmaceutical
companies in the US and Europe. So, the Soviets went their own way
and built on native/regional healing traditions and on discoveries
that were intended to secure the health of cosmonauts in the lonely,
forbidding, and unforgiving environment of space. Many amazing
treatments were developed.
Of all the Russian/Soviet treatments on which I teach or use at our
Center in Del Mar, one of the more interesting is that of Professor
Ashot P. Khachatrian, MD, PhD. (accent on the second syllable -- Ka
CHAT ree an) Professor Khachatrian, whose medical facility is
located in the high tech industrial city of Novosibirsk, Siberia, has
treated some 40,000 patients over the past 15 years. His techniques
which use charged formulations for oral, colon, and intravenous
administration are covered by Russian insurance companies.
I have made arrangements for Dr. Khachatrian to bring his intensive
23-day therapy to our Del Mar Center. He will begin seeing patients
starting the third week of May. The cost will be approximately
$5,000 and less for those who also do our Mango Retreat Seminars
program. Variation in cost will largely depend on whether the
attendees stay at the Center or rent a room elsewhere. The professor
will be here much of the time, but he will also teleconference from
Novosibirsk. From what I have seen the treatment works well with the
common cancers, especially if late stage. It is unusual in that it
seems to work excellently after failed chemotherapy. I have not seen
how it can perform on the leukemias and sarcomas.
Dr. Khatchatrian holds many international patents on his medical
inventions and he is very famous in Russia. He is very high energy,
very personable, speaks adequate English, and enjoys playing the
concert piano and singing Russian songs in the evening. I am looking
around for Russian nurses to add to the ambience. If anyone is
interested in doing one or both programs please call our office at
858-523-9144. We are a non-profit and we can sometimes reduce fees
as donor funds come in. To visit the professor's web site, go to
