[cancercured] Re: Hi, I'm new to the list ........

Hi Patti,
I had breast cancer 5 1/2 years ago. Mine was infiltrating duct
cell carcinoma. It depends on the size if they do chemo or not. I'm
trying hard to remember the time line but I was in shock back then so
it's hard. Mine was 1 cm an they didn't recommend chemo. I had
radiation an took Tomoxifen for two years then Arimidex for three
years. They didn't remove my breast. I wanted it off but they said
it was overkill.
I think I would probably do the same now as I did then but I'd add
complementary med's this time. I'd do the Budwig Diet for sure. I
think wheat grass works with that diet, so I'd do that. Your diet
already sounds good. Budwig doesn't allow supplements I don't
believe. It uses a lot of fermented foods so it has it's own
probotics that are filled with natural vitamins. Some do well on it
alone.
I've started using iodine. Some believe a deficiency can lead to
breast cancer. I'm getting at least 20 minutes of sun a day when I
can, its suppose to be linked to BC. That's part of Budwig to, but
my PCP found that I was deficient. Someone mentioned CoQ10, I read
that report on the cancer research site. It was a small group study
an the dosage was 340 or 380 mg daily. I can't find the report I
read but this tells a little about it. I think they may have pulled
it.

Statin for cholesterol blocks CoQ10 an I took Lipitor, could have
been the reason for mine.
There's so much information on the Internet I still get confused.
I read somewhere that my cancer had probably been there for years
before it got large enough to find. And that I shouldn't rush into
anything till I had time to make informed decisions.

Here is a site that tells her story about using the budwig protocol.
Hers was colon cancer but Budwig works for most.

I guess it comes down to faith. I believe in my heart some
alternatives cure cancer. In my head I have droughts.
