Re: Daughtersofmoms withBREASTCANCER Prayers please

Dear Jennifer,

My name is Sandi. Just over 3 years ago I was diagnosed with invasive lobular carsinoma stage 2. Before I had surgery I had several rounds of radiation just to make sure. 2 weeks following my radiation, I had a bilateral mastectomy with tram flap reconstruction, and yes it was a long day for my family. I was in the operating room for 20 hours.
The point I'm trying to make is that the doctors caught your moms cancer early and the fact that they are optimistic is a good sign. Doctors usually in a situation like this don't make it a habit of giving false hope. You both will be in my prayers.
Since your scare have you started taking the gardisil shot regimin? All 3 of mine have had their series. Talk to your doctor about it.

Take care and I hope I was a help!!
Sandi

Hi everybody, my mom is having her surgery tomorrow, please keep her
in your thoughts and prayers. Her name is Linda. I'm scared to death
but yet happy just to get this part over with. She's just between stage
1 and 2 so they aren't expecting to do chemo. Hopefully it will be just
as they thought when they go in to the breast. It's going to be a LONG
day but if it ends with good news then well worth it. Thank you
everyone for all the kind words you have given me so far through this
journey. I have to say, I've had to have a hysterectomy on 2003 and the
Dr's thought I had Cervical cancer earlier this year but this is BY FAR
the hardest thing I've ever had to go through, I guess when it's a
loved one it's a different story. Anyway, like I said any thoughts and
prayers are deeply appreciated. Wish us luck :)
Thank you, Jennifer
