Let's hope you are wrong and there has been no spread, however, you are the only one that can decide what to do because we all come with different approaches and for many reasons.

Some of us, me for instance, would not allow a biopsy for fear of the 'seeding' of cancer cells.

If you 'go back', before you allow any surgery or other treatments, and 'if' the cancer has spread to your lungs, ask the oncologist/surgeon, whether or not the approach he/she is taking is only palliative or would they be seeking 'cure' by their standards? You then can make a decision based upon knowing exactly what can or cannot be done. For example, if a surgeon advised me that what was intended to be done was strictly palliative meaning comfort and or adding some additional time to life, would that be good enough for me to undertake the treatment? No, for me it would not. Would it be for you or give you more reason to seek a more involved alternative method?

These are the decisions only you can make.

Should I reach the point where your situation applied to me, I would not be asking list members what to do, I would be seeking the advice of someone that works with cancer patients, someone that knows what works and what does not. One such person is Vincent, Director of The Center For The Study Of Natural Oncology. Again, these are decisions only you can make. The best thing would be for your fears to be without merit and you do not have a bigger problem. Your next course is probably to find out what is going on so that you have the information you need to make the right decisions.
