47 grams a day and there is more than enough in vegetables. We do not
need any protein from meats. Contrary to popular belief, ingestion of
protein in any form does not build muscle tissue. Collagen is the
material from which all tissue construction results. Vitamin C and
the amino acids of lysine and proline are mostly responsible for
this, not protein.

When I ask them why they gave it up, they tell me it was because they
needed more protein. The first three years of being a veggie raw foodist, I didn't have a protein problem and so I thought these ex-vegetarians were just wacky. But now I see there is a problem for some. Our bodies change over time and we must be willing to alter our diets to satisfy what our body needs.

allergic to soy. I'm also allergic to nuts and peanuts. This is why I did go back to eating meat a long time ago. That was a huge mistake for me because it lead me down a road of very bad health. When I gave up meat this last time, I got much healthier. So, now I know, no meat.

need. I'm cursing myself right now, because I forgot to pick some up at the store yesterday. :) I also need to find a whey protein powder again because the rice protein powder I was using doesn't work as well. My ND is against me using dairy of any type, and he's right. I feel better when I don't eat any.

journey to good health.
