I was in international conference about ovary cancer in Cracow 3 day. What can classical oncology offer my wife? - I know.
Today Intraperitoneal Chemo with Hyperthermia, scalpel and typical chemo. It is realized many investigative projects, I wait and I seek.
I have time yet, I can seek and analyse .. but once, this time can
dramatically lack. I can not waste time . even if something works, this are certain difficulties.
For example: distance to specialist doctor, costs of travel, cost of
therapy, unforeseeable organism's reactions . A lot of "Advisers" works in some context and they are not objective. I must consider all information, for and against {research, opinions) to filter
and execute optimum choices. This is a difficult and responsible process. How do I rate is my wife's life and of course mine. Surely it is intelligible.

1) Therapy IPT is expensive( interventions execute doctors), and
efficiency.. which one guarantees?
For example:
- UKRAIN acts {works} in near 80 % population and has wide spectrum
anticancers
- Cytostatic ( individually), 20-30 %
- IPT I do not know such data
2) Already I wrote to Vincent:
"using the wrong chemotherapeutic agent(s) or doses that are too low can foster the development of resistant cancer cell strains. Thus, IPT can prevent appropriate chemotherapy from working later and make an otherwise curable cancer incurable. ".
3) IPT causes a reduction in the blood glucose level. This is known as
hypoglycemia and is an expected side effect of insulin therapy. Be in no doubt, hypoglycemia is a potentially dangerous state for the body, however it is a condition that is quickly and effectively controllable through the administration of intravenous glucose infusions. This is a standard component of the IPT protocol.

A woman had 24 sessions of IPT treatments. The last treatment was in April of 2004. How much do you think is necessary to pay for 24 treatments? Insurances {protection} turns {pays back} these costs ? At opportunity: 24 treatments = 3-5 classical chemo.
24 treatments IPT( =low dose targeted chemotherapy; usually 18-22) this 24 onces building of resistant cells on chemo.
After every chemo stay cells cancer, resistant on practical cytostatic. Repeated poor chemistry threatens with development resistant cancer cells. Classical oncology unrolled chemotherapy using very large concentrations cytostatics, and so inversely how IPT. In classical chemo, usually, efficient are first 3 cycles, remaining 4-6 work resoluteness worse.
If You can - show person( web page), which therapy IPT, in ovary cancer - saved life(survival > 5 years), If therapy used in III or IV stage ?..????

...I also did independent research on IPT. I would not hesitate to use it if it were appropriate to the circumstances. I think it's a powerful tool. But of course you must make up your own mind. BTW, what are the risks you are thinking of with IPT?
