Research" at the Center for Natural Oncology. If you happen to be at the
Cancer Control Society this Labor Day weekend at Universal City Sheraton
(LA Area), he is always there on Saturday.
I suspect that he is just about everything at the Center; my impression
is that they bring in grants and other funding as best they can, and
make do with what they have. There have been other reports here from
some who either used his organization's services, or were told that
their case isn't serious enough or that the particular condition really
is best handled by other or conventional methods.
Vincent is not a fund-raiser (other than applying for grants?); your
email may have come from one of the volunteers who help out. I know they
have been around for a number of years (I first ran into them maybe 4
years ago, and I believe they'd been around several years before that.
They are not, as I understand, strictly "Alternative", in that they
recommend whatever approache they have found works for a particular
condition. They don't put much attention into websites and the like. You
might like to call Vincent and chat. If they can help, they're not
cheap, but neither are they out for a certain number of xxxx cases a
week like some of the hospitals in Mexico (yes, I know people who have
worked at some of the Mexican clinics..)
My overall impression has always been that he is a very straight
shooter. Since his organization is not a hospital, but is a private
clinic (staffed with MDs and others as needed), they don't say much on
the website. If I were closer to them, I'd probably be a volunteer
there myself!
