Let's assume it is not a very poor quality of life, something we don't yet know, and that one gets another 4 months of life. I'm sure most of us would like the extra few months of life but that is hardly 'beating cancer' or 'winning the war on cancer' or even coming close. Additionally we do not know how they measured that 'extra' time.
Figures don't lie..............Liar Figure.
Can one imagine what the cost for treatment in Cuba is compared to what it would be in America?
Then we have that question, why would this government not allow its people to get treatment wherever they want?
What kind of stupid politics is involved? The operative word is not really 'stupid' because this goes beyond stupidity. With all the embargos, with all the suppression of trade with Cuba, they still surpass the U.S. in general health care as do ALL Western nations and few non-western as well. For example, we rank 'worst' in infant mortality among all Western nations. Huh? Worst? Looks like our exorbitant outlay of money for health-care just doesn't buy much in the states. Hmmmm, wonder why?
..............and that's the rest of the story.
