What does "Budwig compliant" mean? It means that it does not
conflict with what Joahana Budwig taught.
But maybe she didn't know everything. Or maybe she and her followers
came upon something that worked, and once it worked, they didn't dare
tinker with it, because to screw it up meant people might die.
Unfortunately she is not still around to ask questions to.
I would think that strictly speaking, EVERYTHING I mentioned is NOT
Budwig compliant, because Dr. Budwig did not have it in her protocol.
But some things are more non-compliant than others (LOL).
Bill Henderson and Duncan Crowe are two people (among others) who
extend the Budwig protocol. They take a scientific approach, and
say "wait - this might work better, and it might work better for
these reasons..." And they lay it out. Mike Golden of this group
does the same thing.
The Budwig people take a wholistic approach, and say "no, you can't
chop Bugwig up into individual pieces -- the entire protocol is more
than the sum of of its parts."
Who is right? I don't know.
Basically, I don't think that beta glucan interferes with Budwig. I
don't think that LDN does either. IP6? CoQ10? Mike assures me that
these don't and he's a pretty smart guy.
