New Research Supports Epigenetics

The group has probably already heard of Epigenetics, how your genes are controlled by environment including energy of thoughts and feelings, but did they catch the recent research this week? Dr. Dean Ornish, creator of the only medically-proven treatment to reverse heart disease without drugs and surgery, has expanded his research. In a small study with men who have prostate cancer it was discovered that his program changed activity in 500 genes. 48 cancer-fighting genes were turned on and 453 genes that supported cancer growth were turned off. The work has just been published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. New doorways to curing cancer are opening every day!
