RE: [cancercured] Re: Vitamin B17 sources?

I was wondering about that too, and it might have something to do with bitter promoting the liver/gallbladder activity, hence increased internal cleansing.
Artemisia is a bitter plant as well, and I read an earlier post that someone cured cancer with it.

I wonder if the bitterness means anything. Seriously. I think Ayurvedic medicine is based on six tastes: sweer, sour, bitter, astringent, salty and pungent - and that it seeks to balance the consumption of foods by taste and according to personal type. I eat bitter melon and think that some people consider it not only useful to lower blood glucose but as an anti-carcinogen. The British, I think, sometimes consume "bitters." I don't know what "bitters" are or why they are consumed.

Yes there is a recommended dosage. Don't eat a cup of apricot pits!
That is way too much. They have cyanide in more than trace amount. Recommended dose is 1 pit per 10 lbs of body weight per day, and if well tolerated, up to 30-35 per day, but no more than 6 per hour. Crush them and eat them with a sauce or something to disguise thetaste-they're really bitter. I've used hummus-it seems to mask thetaste better than something sweet. Do not eat them whole, they must be crushed or grated. Do not eat seeds marked 'Hunza' as they will not have the required components; I dont know why this is, I just heard itfrom somewhere.Watch out for nausea, if experienced reduce dose and gradually buildup to tolerance level. Some good information re B17/laetrile at world without cancer site.http://www.worldwithoutcancer.org.uk/therapycomponents.html
