RE: [cancercured] FASCINATING FREQUENCIES - Some pretty interesting feedback

Pretty interesting to see such a post here. I have a friend who insists that very low frequency effects is old work that has been published. From my browsing of the Internet, it seems that the frequencies in question (very low frequencies) are somewhere around 2, 3, or 4 Hz (maybe 2.7 Hz). There seems to be a number of responses triggered by such frequency - sleepiness, sexual arousal, the infamous brown note. I watched a Mythbusters program a while back where they "debunked" this. First they tested something like 8 Hz and said there was no effect; then, to play it safe, they upped it to about 20 Hz and noticed nothing unusual. Oddly enough, they did not try frequencies under 8 Hz.

I'm not aware of the healing aspect that is mentioned. Is this a sort of biofeedback? Sounds from nature are sold on CDs, etc. Audio is about 10 KHz (I think).
