I had my first BSD200 Focused Hyperthermia treatment here in China on Tuesday.
This is really excellent technology. Three tumors were selected and heated to 42degc.
My body was encased in a water shield that circulates cooled water during the treatment session. This maintains the whole body temperature within 2-3 degrees of Normal. (98.6F)
The session lasted one hour, I had very little sweating and was very comfortable, much like lying in a hammock.
The temperatures in the Tumors were achieved by focused micro wave energy that conformed to the shape of the tumor and was maintained by a computer program. The program was created from a CT scan of affected areas. The technician was able to "see" the tumors individually on his computor screen.
There will be ten sessions spaced three days apart. I am hoping to add Intravenous Vitamin C during some of the sessions if I can get the doctors to agree with it.
I have not had time to read all the posts but I see there is some confusion about this treatment. Maybe this will help clear it up.
First of all, there is a Hyperthermia treatment called whole body hyperthermia where the entire body is heated to 104-106 deg F. This is FDA approved but is more readily available in other countries. It is a very dangerous proceedure and is only done in a clinical setting by trained doctors and nurses.Never try this at home. It is a good general therapy but is limited in that it cannot target individual tumors. I have had this whole body hyperthermia treatment several times at the San Diego Clinic in Mexico. You really sweat with this one.
The treatment I am starting now is the next generation in Hyperthemia treatment and took several years to perfect the technology. It can only be done in a hospital or clinical setting. It is not available yet in the USA except in the FDA clinical trials.
The FDA want this Hyperthermia treatment to be combined with Chemotherapy or Radiation.
Here in China I am doing only the Hyperthermia. Lets hope it works.
I will keep the group updated on the progress of the treatment. I feel it has great potential
