[cancercured] Re: Opinions on gluten [and healthy diet]

Hi,

I'm interested in the discussion about gluten. I'm on the fence about it at the moment!

Okay, the site link indicated that all gluten was bad for you -- including oats, which are
pretty low in gluten!

I would have thought rice was just as "sugar-feeding" as gluten -- even brown rice. Why
would it not be? It's a starch, after all.

What is the wisdom on beans? Very starchy, of course, but also thought to be good for the
gut (some studies listed on this board indicated they help prevent colon cancer).

I'm grateful for any thoughts on this matter.

Marti

Sugar feeds cancer. Gluten, such as white flour, is converted to sugar very easily in the
body.
