[cancercured] chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cured by Artemisia Arborescens

It was a little over three weeks ago when one of my patients called me on the phone and said with a great deal of excitement:
I would like to send to you an amazing story of an acquaintant of mine who was cured from leukemia by a medical plant".
I told him that I will be delighted to read the story. Three days later I got it in my mail box.

I will put forth a short traslated version of his recovery story:

"One day around four years ago, I was sitting by my computer when suddenly the entire world darkened on me. This was mid-day and I was unable to see a thing, Nothing! I called for my wife and asked her to call our family doctor, and tell him that I lost my sight...
The doctor instructed us to go immidiatly to the ER.
Several minutes must have past by, when suddenly I saw a flash of light and my eye sight had returned to me as if nothing had happened.
Nontheless the doctor who was still on the phone with my wife insisted we'd go to the ER.
I stayed in the hospital for several days, during which different tests were performed.
One day, a hematooncologist appeared by my bedside and said:
"We see from your blood tests that your lymphocytes are too high and your neutrophils are too low.
This indicats to us that you have CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia).
For now you can go back to everyday life but you will have to come to our departement on a regular basis for tests.
for the following three years I would go to the hematology department and get checked regularly every three months.
During this entire period my blood picture remained the same, except my hemoglobin was low and I had to get several erythropoitin shots to bring it up.
Something else that happened during these three years is that several of my lymph nodes gor realy large and sore.

A year and a half ago the head hematooncology department suggested to me that I should take a drug to help with my CLL.
I asked her what type of drug she had in mind for me, to which she repllied: "something cytotoxic".
I refused, and told her that if it time for treatment, then I will choose my own and the department will continue to monitor my condition.
Dr. Atias the head of the department agreed to my suggestion.
I approached a friend who is a nutritionist and asked for his advice. He told me that I might wish to try artemisinin for my CLL.
I called the pgarmacy and spoke with the pharmacist about the supplement. He said to me that it is maid from chinese artemisia
and indeed it is used for cancer. When I asked him how much it would cost he replied that a monthly supply would cost around $65.
I knew that I have artemisia arborescens (nicknamed "SHIBA" in Israel and drunk mostly by moroccans) growing right in my garden,
and so I decided to first give this one a try.

From that day on I started drinking two cups of artemisia infusions a day, morning and evening.
I did not sweetened the tea. Firstly, I understood that sugar is not good for you when you have cancer; it weakens your immune system.
secondly, I got to like its taste as is.
A month after starting to dring the tea there was a complete turnaround in blood picture. It got back to normal.
Nontheless my lymph nodes were still swollen and painful.
I continued drinking the artemisia tea for several more months, during which time lymph nodes that at some point were large as a fist
continued to shrink all the way back to normal size. The oncologist who checked me six months ago said that she can not see any signs of cancer in me.
It has been about a year or so since I got my last erythropoitin shot and my hemoglobin has been within normal range since."

I would like to add that Zvi is around 70 years old, holds a Phd in biology and a retired biology teacher. Right after reading his story I called him on the phone to ask him several more quesions.
I understood from him that the artemisia tea was a single agent therapy. Zvi did not take any other supplements, did not alter his diet and did not make any changes in his life. As a consultant to cancer patients this is extremely interesting to me.
It means that in such a unique case the cure, in most likelihood
(I don't rule out placebo effect, but think it is the least likely of the two) can be attributed to the artemisia.

There are two types of artemisia arborescens. One is the moroccan one and the other grows in the pacific northwest in the USA.
