Another not uncommon way that an otherwise healthy person can get
cancer is when someone who has a rough spot or jagged edge on a tooth
gets tongue cancer due to the tongue constantly rubbing against the
rough, jagged area. One should always make sure one's dentist smooths
any such rough areas. I've an acquaintance who got tongue cancer that
way and who went the main stream route and suffered terribly with very
nasty, permanent side-effects.
