I've been swishing (pulling) oil for a few months now and find it very
helpful, and lately have been putting xylitol in my bedside water
bottle and swishing that at night. Since xylitiol is a 5 carbon sugar
it kills bacteria in the mouth so would help as he was hydrating with
water to kill bacteria at the same time. I hope the dry mouth
resolves.
