Hi Marlene,

It is a problem, that's for sure. But the incidence of breast cancer in
younger women is going up and up and they are frustrated because they
have little tools to help them get the diagnostic care they need. Many
younger women who have a lump can't get a mammo even when their doctor
says they need one. And many younger women have doctors who ignore
their symptoms saying they are too young for cancer. So, here we have
an entire population that can't even get diagnosed.

I have dense breasts as well. I'm very lucky the mammo picked up my
cancer. I just wish there was a better way for all of us.
