Re: [cancercured] Please give me input...

Hi, please take a look at the website: minadobic.org

My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer a year and a half ago. He
went on the macrobiotic diet pretty soon after that. His current status is
cancer free. It has taken total devotion on his part....it was not easy as he
did not cook at all. He now cooks about 90% of our meals! He was determined.
I used to do all of the cooking or we ate out. He was not willing to take
the surgical route which at that point was presented as THE only option of
course. We have a friend in LA who is using Mina as his counselor. He had
severe GERD as well as diverticulitis and stage IV prostate cancer that had mets.
He has been on the diet since last August and has no sign of GERD and his
digestive situation with diverticulitis is looking very normal. Do not know
at this point about the prostate cancer....but he is feeling great! (His
father is a urologist so this was very unusual for a guy that had that influence
to take an alternative route immediately.) Mina worked with two doctors at
UCLA medical school who had cancer and they are now cancer free. Her
personal story is totally amazing and inspiring.

I believe there are different approaches to the same end. I just don't
believe the medical field has the answers. They are great for many things but
oncology is not one of them in my humble opinion.

Very sincerely,
Karen

Marlene,

Congratulations on your success with your advanced cancer. Would you mind
sharing your approach to curing your own cancer.

I just completed chemotherapy today for bladder cancer, and will have
bladder removal on March 13. I discovered the world of alternative cures
after I had started chemo, and am still learning. So far, I'm taking a
variety of supplements, and also working my way onto the high PH and Budwig
Diets.

I will be praying that your friend makes the choices which brings him
success. I think his reading testimonies of survivors who chose alternative
therapies would help him to have the courage to consider that path. The
Budwig Diet home page, for example, has a link to testimonials which are
very persuasive. _http://groups.http://grohttp://groups.(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FlaxSeedOil2/)

If he is internet savvy, he could discover some things himself. There is
also a good book: "Cancer Step Outside the Box", by Ty M. Bollinger. This
book summarizes a lot of info which provides a good starting point for more
focused study. Ty summarizes a lot different approaches, and ranks his
perception of the effectiveness. He also mounts an effective critique of
the existing medical establishment (first part of the book).
