if he ahs had this for some time I have to assume then that it was MDS that went into AML. Is that true?
Diet is one thing that could be changed if he already hasn't. Essiac's tea is another thing that I think might help. Dandelion root ( herb ) increases white cells as I understand it.

This is some of what I used with my oldest daughter who had AML. Vitamin C ( liquid ) and Vitamin A ( liquid)
IV use with both if you can. Is better then using it any other way.
