May I suggest you search the late Bruce Guilmette's web site? Bruce was diagnosed with inoperable renal cell carcinoma, and was given just weeks to live, but managed, through alternative treatments he researched and even devised, in some cases, to live for years, I believe. I think his site may be one of the best places for you to go.
