Hi, Tina.

You do not say why you want to induce the high body temperature. I
suppose it may be to try to destroy tumors. If so, I am not sure you
will be able to achieve any good results, the reason being that I
looked up hyperthermia in relation to cancer and saw that the
temperature needed to achieve significant tumor kill appears to be 41.8
degrees Celsius = 106.76 degrees Fahrenheit, if I am not mistaken. It
looks as if therapeutic hyperthermia needs to be done in a specialized,
clinical setting. That also means, I would say, that putting cold
compresses on your forehead would be harmless.
