[cancercured] Re: calcification around tumor

Hi Robyn,
About a year and a half ago, I had a biopsy on a small lump in my
breast. It was diagnosed as DCIS with a similar recommendation for
mastectomy. After the biopsy, the lump started growing like crazy.
Soon after, I read that biopsies can seed the cancer cells to different
places. I went back and asked the surgeon about what I had read and he
denied that it could happen. Needless to say, this did not build up my
confidence so I started reading about and doing different alternative
therapies. I have more energy, more sparkle in my eyes, more color in
my lips, not constipated anymore and my weight went to a near ideal
like when I was in my 20's (am 57 now) and is holding, and I have a
very good appetite.

I think the Budwig protocol is good for one's health, however, after 6
months on it, the tumor was still growing so I decided to do some
additional therapies.

Unfortunately, the tumor is (or was until recently) still growing and
has just about filled up the whole breast. Have just started Dr.
Clark's protocol which is supposed to shrink tumors but too early to
tell if this will work either.

Just last week, another member on this list, sent me a link to
information about iodine so I am painting drug store type iodine on the
breast. It absorbs quickly (color disappears in about 4 hours) and
from what I have read, this quick absorbtion indicates that my body is
deficient in iodine and needs it.

Blessings,
Cheryl

same as it was 3 months ago. No mets as far as he can tell. He says
there may be a couple of lymp nodes under my arm that need to go
besides having a masectomy. He says there is calcification around the
tumor(does anyone know what that means?)  He says my other option is to
do chemo and try to shrink the tumor to do a lumpectomy.  The last 3
months I have completely changed my diet and have been doing budwig for
2 months.  Does anyone have any suggestions. I was thinking if the
tumor isnt growing I should wait.
