In order to avoid a law suit myself, I'll refer to the guy that runs
that site as S.B.. He is basically a non-practicing M.D. who has made
a career out of shilling for the pharmaceutical industry. He's been the
subject of a number of lawsuits. He gets his hand slapped by the
courts as a result.
There is some truth to almost anything. This even applies to that
website. Some of the things they blast deserve to be blasted.
Unfortunately they cast an extremely wide net. I know a man named
Jeffrey Bland, PhD.. They depict him as a quack. He is far from it.
He was formerely the head of research at the Linus Pauling Institute.
He is one smart felllow, very scientific in approach. S.B. blasts
him when he gets a chance. S.B. and the site are connected to
quaisi-existent organizations to augment their credibility. By this
I mean that they have a hand in creating the organization just so it
can agree with them. I'm being a little vague here, again to avoid
being sue myself. (They do that.) What really annoys me is that
television networks and other media sources often drag this oaf into
the limelight to give "expert opinion" on things.
