The article discusses the distribution and effect throughout the body
of the various forms of arte. It discusses "double-dosing" (morning
and night) and also the drop-off in absorption over time. It also
discusses iron supplementation to increase the effects of arte, and
antioxidants with arte.
What is clear is that the whole arte picture is NOT clear. E.g.,
some doctors recommend 2x a day dosing while others recommend 1x a
day. Some recommend derivatives, while others recommend artemisinin
only.
Some say no antioxidants should be taken with arte, while one doctor
says only vitamin E poses a problem.
Some patients are whamming themselves with a big dose of iron before
starting a round of arte. Some docs say this is bad.
Anyway, I invite one and all to read this and provide feedback -- I
think it would make for a very interesting thread of discussion.
