Gubi hit the nail on the head. By now we should recognize that a well-orchestrated effort is being made to regularly keep this kind of report in the news. They need to give a knock-out punch to both E & C because these are two of the 'heavy-hitters' in the Alternative arsenal.

Most of the time we get the rebuttal in but a few days unless they hid the specifics in that probably skewed report so well that it makes it difficult.

The Conventional Medicine Machine, and it is a machine, knows full well the amount of money people are spending on supplements and other alternative measures and make no mistake about it, they want to get their greedy hands on it. When was the last time a physician suggested you take something less expensive, something a major drug company didn't produce, or maybe nothing and just wait and see? The last time I went to a local physician, who didn't know what my complaint was, not remotely, and still he asked if I wanted an Antibiotic. ??

Right now there is a study going on re Chelation Therapy. There are 100 hospitals in this study that was forced upon the Machine by physicians that use this form of therapy mostly regarding the Cardio Vascular system.
What makes me think this will be skewed enough so that the claimed value of Chelation Therapy is watered down enough so that people will continue to seek Angioplasties and By-Pass operations? Past observations that's what!

BTW, there are some in the Alternative field that believe Chelation Therapy has its use in the real battle against Cancer, the Alternative battle. If heavy metals can be safely removed, and it is an established fact that EDTA Chelation removes Lead, as per the FDA, perhaps it removes other heavy metals?
