[cancercured] Re: breast cancer

Hi, Belinda.

First thing I would do would be to get a second opinion. It is not at
all uncommon for pathologists to make mistakes. Not sure about how to
do that, as many members may feel that a second needle biopsy is
inadvisable.

I greatly appreciate that you do not want your mother going through
chemotherapy or radiation at her age. I hope the needle biopsy was not
too terribly painful for her, and I hope it did not spread cancer cells
to elsewhere in her body. You are SUCH a SMART WOMAN for coming here to
cancercured to ask questions BEFORE the doctors can do significant
damage to your mother.

As you are obviously aware, a 79-year-old body is not a 29-year-old
body. Such a body has already deteriorated from natural causes over the
years, and chemotherapy or radiation will exascerbate and hasten the
deterioration process. At the very, very least, by not allowing the
doctors to do their damage, your mom will be able to spend plenty of
quality time with you and the family before she passes on.

But I believe there are some valid things she can begin doing right
away.

Providing how she and you feel about her energy level and her
capability for staying with any particular protocol, she can:

begin the Budwig Protocol, which centers around eating flax oil,
cottage cheese, nuts and berries daily - (see the Yahoo group
flaxseedoil2 and the files of this group for more information.)
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/cancercured/files

get some sunshine, fresh air and PLENTY of purified water daily (best
is 1/2 oz per pound of body weight daily, but get as close to that as
you can.)

take low-dose naltrexone nightly before going to bed

bounce gently on a rebounder(mini-trampoline) for 20 to 40 minutes a
day. The bouncing does NOT have to be vigorous. The feet do not even
have to leave the mat for the rebounder to have a significant effect.

get into therapy with a therapist trained in working with people
diagnosed with cancer. Sometimes working out emotional issues can have
a significant effect on healing.

eat plenty of green salads, raw fruits and vegetables. (Be CAREFUL if
your mom has been eating lots of processed foods all her life. RAW can
cause painful cramping. If she has been eating lots of cooked,
processed foods, start SLOWLY on the raw.)

take chlorella, alfalfa and blue-green algae and spirulina. These can
be purchased most cheaply at www.swansonvitamins.com.

Best wishes and best of health,

Elliot
