[cancercured] getting out of a coma

I've been following a little the story of Ron Springs, former NFL player, who was stricken with Type II diabetes since 1990 and who has been in a coma for about three months.

I understand that low blood glucose may put a person in a comatose state. This is why young children should not eat bitter melon - a vegetable reputed as effective in lowering blood glucose. However, if someone is already in a comatose state, would raising the person's blood glucose level to a mid-normal to high-normal range act to get the person out of the coma?

Just curious,

Walter
