Re: [cancercured] Re: Avoiding Bladder Removal-Web Sites-ONCOVITE

I would not have cared that the 'association' said BCG was the preferred treatment, it was Vincent's general approval because of the results it gets. I trusted his judgment, not the word of a Urologist and still only take their suggestion when it falls in line with my own convictions. We all must make decisions and should I discover metastasis beyond the bladder, I'm heading out to Southern California and looking for Vincent's help. That's my decision because I'm never going to get on that conveyor belt to cystectomy, another 'Gold Standard' of the Allopaths.

There are few 'Gold Standard' or 'Standard of Care' treatments for sickness that Alternative fans would allow so why do something because some Association suggests it?

In this case they have good evidence and still I would not have done it if it had been standard Chemotherapy. I only allowed BCG because it was Immunotherapy and it was instilled into the bladder and only held for upwards of two hours then voided out. There is still risk of sepsis....but again, it's decision time.
