Re: [cancercured] Re: Avoiding Bladder Removal-Web Sites

What I said re BCG is that I would be hesitant to do more than two full courses of BCG. Each course being once weekly for six weeks.

I started one but by the fourth instillation they couldn't get the catheter in. Of course it was fine before that so what did they do????

That was when the Uro suggested Chemotherapy and I stated, "I did a lot of research on it and it wasn't as effective as BCG"..........he responded, "You're right".........that was the end of that approach.

Later they figured a way to get the catheter in. Because you are 'in the middle of things, I'll explain it.

First they used the Cystoscope to find their way into the bladder. They followed with a wire via the scope. Then they removed the scope leaving the wire. Then they threaded the catheter by way of the wire into the bladder and removed the wire. In went the BCG followed by the removal of the catheter. Six weeks of this. Surprisingly no more uncomfortable than the usual one-step way.

I was exploring a visit to a Mexican Clinic and had been conversing with Vincent via e-mail. When I suggested I wanted to do that during a driving trip to California, Vincent offered that he didn't think I needed that. Later I learned he was connected with one of the better clinics, The San Diego Clinic right over the border from SanDiego. Vincent was recommended by a friend whose son had bladder cancer. Besides advice via mail, he taught me a lot during a visit with him on his office day off. He devoted an hour of his time and it was obvious he is a sincere and knowledgeable person. Think, instead of welcoming me to the clinic he is connected with, he didn't.
It impressed me a lot.

As a result I began more serious study and took some of his advice such as using Curcumin, B6, Pau d' Arco and a bunch of Ascorbic Acid to tolerance.

Vincent, cutting edge that he is, was not adverse to my using BCG because of its success rate.

Let's face it, we are all fountains of information but I wanted to be in touch with someone that works with cancer victims and knows what works and what doesn't.

As for AMAS? It has too many false negatives and false positives which I experienced when it did not detect cancer cells that were already forming a tumor. Same thing with the CT-Scan and the Cystoscope until the tumor got larger. Tests are not always 100% and some are worse than others. I would not do the AMAS again. That's me speaking, not you or anyone else.

Cancer was detected after heavy bleeding forcing me to go to a Urologist. That was in 2002 when my only grandson was only 2 and me thinking he would never remember me. I was hoping to get him to at least five---he's now eight!

I've done lots of Apricot kernels, upwards of 21 a day for a couple of months and also Graviola and some Artemisinin. My first, what I call breakthrough, came after a short course of IV Vitamin C and another vitamin which Vincent recommended.

I do not know enough about Simoncini and am a bit wary about things that seem to be 'magic bullets' and rightfully so. Cancer has been around for a long time and every now and then a 'magic cure' pops up. In fact, every month the Life Extension magazine, along with others, hype yet another 'wonderful' product to buy. They all seem to fall in the $39.00 range too.

Vincent suggested that a 'new' approach, instead of BCG, might be KLH. When I brought this to the attention of my Urologist he did not know anything about it. I brought him a write-up on it and he thanked me in front of his staff and promised to stay on top of this. It supposedly has less bad effects than BCG but apparently it is still being kicked around. Maybe it just doesn't generate enough money to overtake BCG?

Anyway, follow Vincent's often used advice. "Information is your best friend".

Good luck,

Joe C.
