Coke. I've quit that completely since the cancer diagnosis. However,
I still crave that bubbly sensation.
Is sparkling (carbonated) water okay? E.g., last night I got a Perrier
whose only ingredients were water, lemon, lime, and CO2. Tonight I
just had club soda, with only water and CO2. No phosphoric acid, no
artificial flavorings or colorings or sweeteners.
I know there is a very mild carbonic acid effect in carbonated water,
but is it enough to mess with my body's ph?
