not take supplements. I nude sunbathe at noon for 20 min. front, 20
min. back, I take my kitchen timer out. I don't burn. I have a nice
light tan. Know your own skin and sunbathe accordingly. I don't do
this every day, maybe 4 times a week, my life's too full of
commitments. UV-B is the cancer fighter, and it's at its highest
mid-day. Actually UV-C is better, but almost all of it is filtered out
by our atmosphere. If you get enough sun in the summer, it's stored in
your fat cells. In the fall, winter, and early spring, I use my vitamin
D sunlamp: http://summertan.com/vitamin_d_and_ultraviolet_light.htm
I also eat a lot of fish year-round, and I read that shellfish also
provide some vitamin D. And of course, milk has vitamin D thrown in,
and it's in lots of other foods. I do occasionally take the vitamin D
drops by Biotics, for insurance. The source is sheep's wool, believe it
or not. By doing what I do, I don't risk over-dosing with supplements
of D, which is very bad.
