My friend who farms for a living got his foot caught in a machine and
had to have a third of the food amputated. There is also very
significant swelling due to how severely the foot and ankle were
twisted.

Could some of you please let me know what are the best things for him
to eat, as well as which supplements are best for him to take so as to
heal as well and quickly as possible?

I believe I understand that B-complex is helpful for nerve
regeneration. And I expect vitamin C is excellent.
