[cancercured] Re: "The Truth About Cancer" on PBS

Actually, what I liked about the program is that the producers made it
clear that with exception of perhaps childhood leukemia and prostate
cancer which has been caught early, the big chemo hammer does not cure
cancer and probably in most cases, while a remission can occur for
some, in the end and for the most part it does not extend survival. I
will say though that the producers failed to note that chemo, in
itself, has the capability of leading to death. But the producers told
the truth in showing most of the cancer patients fading away, even
while taking block-buster treatment. It was a terribly sad program
and I hope an eye-opener to at least a portion of the viewing
population that for the most part just about any sensible way other
than chemo would be the route to investigate. Maybe?
