Some discussion of the issue over at never_do_harm_to_anyone. Thought it

What does this mean for people on the Budwig Protocol who are not
supposed to take Vit. E or A because it might interfere with the action
of the Flaxseed oil? I would think juicing lots of carrots would
provide a lot of Beta Carotene to get A but I don't know how you would
obtain much Vit. E from foods.

Hi Nancy
I'm on the Budwig diet and have studied it extensively. The more I read
the
more convinced I am that it is a the best diet available. I don't think
you
have to worry about obtaining either Vit A or Vit E. Vit E is found in
nuts
and seeds, avocados and some vegetables especially dark green. Vit A is
not
just found in carrots (as beta carotene) but any fruit and veg coloured
red
yellow or dark green and is also in whole milk and cottage cheese. Both
vitamins are better utilised by the body in their natural form and as
the
emphasis in the Budwig diet is on lots of fruit vegetables and nuts and
seeds as well of course as the flaxseeds, oil and cottage cheese, I
don't
think there is any question that you get more than enough of all
vitamins
not just A and E.
For people on a junk diet of course it is a different story!
