bombs were dropped on Japan. People who ate traditional Japanese
diets were not effected much by the radiation. This is considered due
to the diet of mostly seafood rich in iodine. Those who developed
radiation sickness were not eating the traditional diets.
A year or so ago I searched statistics for Hiroshima and Nagasaki
finding it quite interesting that these ground zero cities were re-
built and are fully populated. The statistics for cancer deaths in
Nagasaki were negligible when compared to the total population.
Perhaps radioactivity isn't as dangerous as our leaders would have us
believe. I couldn't locate stats on Hiroshima but I suspect that
cancer deaths are low there as well.
Lugol's iodine was taken off the market a few months ago. Hummm....
Makes one wonder now doesn't it?
