Re: [cancercured] CA-125

The CA-125 is not a screening tool. It is best used for women who
already have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer who wish to track their
progress. It is also used for women who are at high risk for developing
overian cancer. I have a CA-125 yearly along with pelvic ultrasounds.
Anything over 35 is suspect but does not mean there is cancer.
