Try telling that to the parent of a fussy child who doesn't like
vegetables. Does that mean vegetables aren't good for them? Why is
junk food so appealing? Because it tastes good to people. That doesn't
make it good for them.
Taste is entirely a matter of personal opinion.
There are many many people who like the taste of tomatoes and potatoes
for example. They must be two of the most consumed foods worldwide.
Just think of all the things these are made into.
Personally I hate the taste of brussel sprouts. I wish I liked them
because they would be very good for me, but there you go. Just because
I don't like the taste of them doesn't mean they would poison me if I
ate them.
