I'm sure she has post traumatic stress, not related to any abuse, but
secondary to a lifetime of physical misery. She had a bad reaction to
a vaccination when she was an infant and ended up in the hospital for
weeks. She's never been well since. She had hospitalizations in
childhood with critical low white cell counts, the theory being that
it was some unknown viremia. She had severe head pain as a child and
missed nearly a year of school. She had the youngest onset of severe
endometriosis anyone had ever seen, having multiple surgeries for that
in her early 20s. She was on danacrine hormonal therapy for an entire
year in 1986. When she had a hysterectomy two years ago and had two
grapefruit and one orange sized cysts on her ovaries. She has Arnold
Chiari malformation of the skull with her brainstem buldging out of the foramen
magnum. This is not a complete list, but I think you get the point.
As far as EFT is concerned...we know about it and her
Naturopath/medical doc (the guy who prescribes the naltrexone) suggested it. I guess the guy
who created it is a friend of his. She has no interest in it. She had
many conventional psychotherapists who tried to help with the
understandable depression, including some into some off-center type
therapies. She's been (against my objections) on various
antidepressants. Those don't work at all. (Of course she's tried all
the alternative versions also)
And, of course fibromyalgia......
