[cancercured] Chemo not effective in most cancers

About 90% of all cancers involve epithelial tissue which are
carcinomas. Many researchers have questioned the value of chemo and a
recent Austrailian study found it to be useful in less than 3% of all
cases so treated.

Epstein, M.D. c.2005 pg. 53

"At least 80% of cancer deaths in Western industrial countries are due
to advanced epithelial malignancies. Apart from lung cancer,
particularly small-cell lung cancer, there is no direct evidence that
chemotherapy prolongs survival in patients with advanced epithelial
malignancies. ...To date there is no clear evidence that the treated
patients, as a whole, benefit from chemotherapy...

With few exceptions, there is very little scientific basis for the
application of chemotherapy in symptom-free patients with advanced
epithelial malignancy..."
