Sorry I can't answer your question, I just don't know much about this
concept of tumours necroting healthy tissues, although I do remember reading
about some of the things they check in your bloodwork and I read that some
could be an indicator of necrotic cells of some organs (from tissue damage
due to a variety of reasons) but also that they could be due to tissue
damage caused by the cancer. I am sorry I can't remember which where the
"markers" in the bloodwork that indicated this. Do you know them? How has
your doctor determined that you have this necrosis? Have they told you?
Nevertheless, I think it is also a possible sign of cancer cells dying due
to treatment, because it still would probably appear as necrotic tissue,
wouldn't it. I guess they can't tell the reason unless they analyse other
info relating to tumour activity.
