From real experience, from someone that had used them, and from recommendations, I consumed upwards of 27 Apricot Kernels (bitter) each day generally consuming 7 - 8 at a time and did that for a couple of months. Some have recommended consuming 7 a day for preventative purposes. Does that work? Beats me.

Apparently they did not help my bladder cancer situation, but like everything else, and I mean everything, nothing works for all people all the time.

I don't know why the seeds are bitter any more than I know why other seeds are tasty. Perhaps the Apricot tree has evolved so well that it learned to assure safety whereas the beautiful Sun Flower is easily devoured by squirrels and birds. One thing is sure. 27 Apricot kernels, Cyanide and all, did not kill me over the span of a couple of months.
