I'm stage 0 breast cancer - so my experience was very different than
yours.
What kind of alternatives have you done? Is the cancer hormone receptor
positive?
Most oncologists will discourage you from doing any supplements - even
eating fresh fruits and veggies - while on chemo. Many supplements will
counteract the affects of the chemo. And because you will become
susceptable to bacterias, etc, fresh fruit and veggies are discouraged.
I did radiation and was actually okay with it. It took me awhile to
wrap my head around it, though. Since my cancer was on the right side,
the radiation would not hit my heart. Your situation is a lot different
than mine, so I can understand your concern.
My best to you.
