I am supposed to start BCG next week...i went to the LA cancer convention and one of the people speaking there had BCG..he said its like "spitting razors"..is it that painful? is there a way to alleviate the pain?
also he said they try to send you home with it, but its better to stay in the clinic, and you roll back and forth, so as to have it saturate the bladder

He did 2 cycles, plus detoxing and supplements,and it was successful

I've never heard of 'Bladder Reaming', then again the 'practice of Urology is all over the place as regards both Bladder and Prostate treatments.
The general standard for bladder tumors is 'resection' (removing them) usually followed by instillation of BCG, an Immunotherapy whereby they pour the BCG into one's bladder via a catheter in the hopes of kick-starting the immune system. I do not think they do this if there is muscle invasion or an existing tumor.

There is the possibility of severed reaction to this but there is a lot of science showing this often has good results.
It is attactive compared to allowing standard Chemotherapy injected into a vein because the BCG is 'held' in the bladder for two hours and then voided out.
